Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8x8 baking dish.
In small bowl, add butter, half the pumpkin pie spice and 1/3 of the sugar. Use your hand to mix it together.
In a mixing bowl, whisk egg and the remaining sugar for one to two minutes. Add the yogurt, puree pumpkin, and vanilla and mix again until smooth.
Add the flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, salt and the remaining pumpkin pie spice. Mix until well combined.
