Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert Board

Boards are all the rage these days and as I was making my energy bites, I thought this would be a fun dessert board!

With three main simple ingredients, I have added fun toppings to dress this board up.

I start with peanut butter and mix in chocolate protein powder and agave nectar.

You may use 1/4 cup cocoa powder as a subsitute for protein powder.

If you do not have agave nectar you may also use maple syrup or even honey, but I do find honey to not mix as well as maple syrup or agave nectar.

Add your favorite snacks to dip

For dippers, my kids and I love Stacy’s Cinnamon & Sugar Pita chips.  I have a special place in my heart for Stacy’s pita chips because about 12 years ago she sent me a variety package of Stacy’s Pita Chips and the box said, “To: Stacy, From: Stacy”

So cool, right! Because she spells her name like me, she (the company) sent a box of pita chips, the best!

I also like to add pear, apple or banana slices.  Graham crackers, pretzels, and animal crackers are great dippers.  Or a spoon is great, too, haha!
